Everyone has gotten off a plane, bus, or train ride and wondered if they were going to get sick afterwards. The risk of infection in closed public transport spaces from recycled air is very high, unless the air is continuously disinfected (and not just filtered) and surfaces are properly cleaned. The entire transit system is also at risk, from passenger lobbies to baggage handling areas. And in international arrivals, the possibility of the spread of serious illness is all too often a reality. Traditional ventilation systems do not disinfect. ReSPR's space-proven technology is the solution for continuous purification.

  • Eliminates up to 99.9% of surface and airborne pathogens.

  • Disinfects gases that cause unpleasant odours.

  • Proactively freshens indoor air, naturally and safely.

  • Counteracts imperfections in normal HVAC systems.

  • Provides scalable solutions and low operating costs.

  • Stops the spread of infection and reduces staff absenteeism.

Bus transport operators in Brazil and Mexico have installed prototype ReSPR duct station custom solutions, specially designed to remove restroom and food preparation odors from small on-board kitchens. Two units are installed per bus and are built to be tamper-proof and withstand vibrations from vehicular traffic.

Results: Our partners in these tests are delighted with the results and the improvement of the bus travel experience for their customers. ReSPR plasma purifies the air during travel.
